Portrait of Charlotte, turned sideways and facing the camera.

Hi, I’m Charlotte.

I’m proud to have grown up in the Garden State and I still live here with my family. However, I have three years living abroad in Seoul, South Korea to thank for that family, as it’s where I met my (American) husband, and we share the dream of living overseas again someday.

Writing has been endemic to my identity from the start, and I dove into my career as a copywriter while working for Kakao—makers of KakaoTalk—in South Korea. Upon returning to the U.S., I pivoted to ecommerce working in food and apparel before landing at my current place of work, HSAD USA, an agency within LG Electronics. Here I deepened my experience as a copywriter and capital C Creative, gaining fluency in adapting and strengthening brand voice and style, building cohesive and cross channel customer experiences, and on-page storytelling. In the latest chapter of my career I pivoted to Content Strategy and I’ve come to see myself as a writer with a strategist’s toolkit (and vice versa).

Creatives can solve anything.

A colleague once told me “Creatives can solve anything,” and that belief has stayed central to my approach. I approach creative strategy as equal parts detective work and storytelling. As a voracious reader of fiction and Mintel reports alike, creative strategy presents an opportunity to condense hard and soft data into something real, human and impactful.
