Love and Other Genres, a friends-to-lovers romance
Publishing July, 2026: Simon Evans and April Roundtree steal glances during writing workshops, but their attraction never moves beyond the editing table. When Simon’s screenwriting aspirations lead him to the other side of the country, the pair seem lost to the friend zone. But when Simon returns from L.A.,, the star-crossed friends navigate grief, class anxiety, and a shaky future for the Hudson City Writers along with their feelings for one another. Bookish, cozy, banter-filled, laced with correspondence and just the right amount of spice!

Fiction
Reading and writing fiction are my twin passions. In my twenties and early thirties, I focused on short fiction and published stories online and in print. My work focuses on realist, female-centered stories that touch on family, grief, memory, aging and belonging.
As of this writing I am at work on a full-length manuscript that is something a little different in a genre I’ve recently come to love: Contemporary romance. I intend to get my book out into the world somehow—through traditional or self publishing. Stay tuned!
